Tell me who you are...
Baztan-Bidasoa Turismoa is a private, nonprofit tourism association.
Our goal is to promote and develop tourism in the Baztan-Bidasoa region and, at the same time, represent the interests of the tourism industry.
We were pioneers in rural tourism; the first agritourism lodgings in Navarre opened in Baztan-Bidasoa more than 25 years ago, thanks to the “Hiruak Bat” association. Over the years—during which we’ve helped establish new associations in various fields—our commitment to authentic, high-quality, and sustainable rural tourism remains as strong as it was on day one.
In 2015, Baztan-Bidasoa Turismoa was founded—an association made up of rural inns, hotels, lodging establishments in general, restaurants, activity providers, service providers, producers, and more…
Recognizing that tourism is one of the main economic drivers of our region, our challenge is to ensure that this engine runs smoothly and reliably, with a commitment to quality.
Currently, there are about 80 members who make up Baztan-Bidasoa Turismoa. We’re expanding and want to keep growing. That’s why our doors are open to new members. We want to build a big family to meet the needs of everyone who visits us, just like you. We want you to feel right at home here.
Our funding comes from member dues and grants from the government and various organizations for tourism projects and initiatives.
Management at "Auzolan"
People in Baztan-Bidasoa have always worked for the community through “auzolan,” and that’s how we operate in our association as well.
The association has a Board of Directors consisting of seven members who are elected every two years at the General Assembly of members. For administrative purposes, it also has a president, vice president, and secretary, who are responsible for convening assemblies and liaising with the administration.

Your destiny... our destiny
Our challenge is to work toward creating a destination. We want you to choose Baztan-Bidasoabecause we believe it’s worth it.
We know that our greatest treasure lies in our towns and villages, in our unique character; that’s why, to you who choose us, we offer our “flagship product”: our landscapes, our traditions, our history and culture, our delicious cuisine, and our ancient language, Euskara. We want to share everything we have with you.
Here, at our home—your home—you’ll find what you’re looking for: if you want some peace and quiet, you can sit in the shade of a tree reading a book—why not?—take a walk through our forests, explore our villages, see firsthand how cheese is made, make “talos” with your own hands,…If you’re looking for adventure, you can zip down a zip line and feel that rush of excitement in your stomach…
We have endless plans for you. Just go with the flow!
