Ixiart Craft Shop
Ixiart is the craft shop run by the Baztan-Bidasoa Turismoa Tourism Association.
Located in the same building as the Bertiz Tourist Office, the Craft Shop reopened its doors in March 2017 and continues to operate from its current location, offering a variety of services—from handmade items to local products from the area.
At the helm of the shop and hard at work is Itziar Mielgo, a wood artisan who displays her work “on site”: wood carvings, boxwood spoons, argizaiolas, spoon rests, and more—traditional and modern Basque crafts.
The selection is rounded out with local products such as sheep's milk cheese, olive oil, pacharán, and moisturizers made by the nuns of Arizkun.
