At the entrance to the village of Amaiur, across from the church, stands the Amaiur Mill.  Despite the passing of the years, the millstones of the Amaiur Mill continue to turn.

Surrounded by a vast forest, half-hidden among the trees, lies “Infernuko errota,” or the Mill of Hell.

The Urdazubi-Urdax mill has been preserved in perfect condition since it was rebuilt in the 18th century. It was during that century that it began serving the farmhouses.
