elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t<p>El Camino de Santiago Baztan\u00e9s, es la rama del Camino de Santiago que cruza nuestro Valle de Norte a Sur. Parte de Bayona, y recorriendo pueblos como Urdazubi-Urdax, Amaiur, Elizondo, Irurita, Ziga, o Almandoz llega a Belate para unirse en Arre con el Camino Franc\u00e9s, proveniente de Roncesvalles. 106,55 kil\u00f3metros por por tierras baztanesas para conocer el paisaje y los pueblos del Valle.\u00a0<\/p><p>Esta rama del Camino de Santiago, fue utilizada durante los largos inviernos del Medioevo por viandantes, peregrinos, mercaderes, ej\u00e9rcitos y reyes, ya que el clima de nuestra tierra\u00a0 es m\u00e1s suave que el del Pirineo.<\/p><p>Actualmente, la Asociaci\u00f3n de Amigos de Santiago del Camino Baztan\u00e9s, creada en el a\u00f1o 2000 y con sede en la Parroquia de Elizondo se encarga de la gesti\u00f3n de esta rama. En los a\u00f1os de existencia de la Asociaci\u00f3n han desarrollado una intensa actividad cultural y han recuperado el Monasterio de Urdax, la ermita de Santiago de Urrasun, la calzada entre Amaiur-Maya y Arizkun, el albergue de Berroeta, la ermita de Santiago de Belate y los albergues de Lantz y Olag\u00fce en colaboraci\u00f3n con sus
